Murphys Law:
After going to W VA and racing at the Jefferson Time Trials and returning home without incident, Friday evening I took the car to tech inspection for this weekends Pagoda Hillclimb. Upon leaving, I didn’t make it even one mile. No fuel delivery. It’s starts raining. Cage is on the car so no top. I end up calling a tow truck. They did…[Read more]

Hello newbie you can put a inline six in it, It will fit the only proplem is that the carb. sets up is to high for the hood to close.I would recommend using a updraft carb. I also have an unbuilt kit, mine is a chevy base frame also thought about putting in the inline 6 in it .Even bought the motor to put in it.

What is a “late model Chev 230 with Powerglide”? Seems mutually exclusive since the Powerglide was last made in 1973 …
I think you have a great idea about putting the six in the car, but if I were you, I think I’d aim for something like a 240Z engine and transmission (or 260Z, 280Z, 280ZX, etc.) or maybe an old six-cylinder BMW…[Read more]

Newbie here. Just bought an unbuilt FiberFab Ford kit for less than what the grille shell is apparently worth. So now a new learning curve begins. (Have loved TDs since I was a whippersnapper, and several years ago I briefly owned a beautifully-built VW-based MiGi. It was my daily driver except in snow.)
It seems I was blessed in acq…[Read more]

Apple’s Preview app does a good job at “annotating.” It allows line drawing, boxes, circles, etc..

Missed this thread until just now, sorry for the delay. @greg-press did you get it sorted out? I can look at shorter less complex passwords, but not sure the system will allow it.

I edited a VW wiring diagram for my TDr using MS Paint. Now I have switched to an Apple computer and I don’t know what to use to edit my existing wiring diagram. Does anyone know what I can use to edit my TD wiring diagram?

Greg,
I had to use a new password. I believe it now has to be 12 to 16 (or 18 characters.) And it must contain numbers, letters, and special characters and is case sensitive. Check the “New Site, new forums etc” topic. Stephen has a webmaster email you can send him and he’ll walk you through it. I worked with him on mine and its now working great!

I have a problem with my password . At some point my password that I have used for years quit working for some unknown reason . I decided to get a new one thinking I would get to choose it . I was given a long numbered and letter password . At my age it would take a long time to memorize it . Am I able to choose my own and if I can how do I do that
