Count me and the Green Goose in. I’ve been jealous reading about the adventures at Carlisle.Bout’ time we got an event for us wrong-coasters.The Scottish event at the Queen Mary has an English car ‘show’. I’ve been a couple of times. The Goose always causes trouble.

I love Pismo and Shell beach! Sounds like a great mid point for us. The roads are scenic but easy climbs for our kits. Might I suggest Hearst castle for the sunday after our meet, its well worth it!Im not sure if they have an In and Out Burger but if not well…[Read more]

Just FYI: This is the MP version, which unlike my TI looks more like the MG-TD. The main difference is the doors, which are hinged at the front edge instead of being mounted “suicide” style. The body is a single piece, with the hood, doors, mock grille shell and rear engine deck lid separate. Very thick fiberglass construction, extremely sturdy.…[Read more]

Good looking car.
Re: the fuel filter…I hope you did not remove it. You do want a fuel filter in the line. Many VW enthusiasts recommend moving it to a spot behind the fan housing, to get it away from the heat of the engine block. - Load More
