Thanks for all the info. Now I just need to deside on the wood. I have so cherry wood that was cut over twenty years ago, may use that.

I think the dash is Formica – wood appearance ..

Chattanooga show is in a few weeks. I always make that show. 3 hr drive one-way but worth it to me. Usually 300+ VWs of all types. They even have a kit car class.
