I’am guessing that it was OK before you removed the stop plate.If you didn’t mark it you might look very close at it to see if you can tell the previous position.also are the tabs on the plate facing up or down they are supposed to be up,some plates only have one and when installed it should be on the right,the ones with 2 tabs the long narrow tab…[Read more]

Yes they are real knock off’s. I’m trying to build a car that will fool a lot of people from 50 feet. I have a real TD gas tank & have fabricated hood sides out of metal that are being louvered as we speak. I’m trying to keep the cost down …….. but I to need a grill shell. Wire wheels were not with the kit ……. they are 15″ British Sports Car wheels ……. just don’t know what car. They were a donation!I’ll post more pictures soon …… thanks for the compliments guys!Jim

Looks like I missed pre -registration at this point and Rock Star Parking – no big deal – 15.00 at the show and it’s like 100 feet away anyway.

I did not see the Lucas replacement wire smoke kit anywhere. That’s getting harder and harder to find.
