Roy,I have them on mine and they do help a lot even though I have a tall windshield and w/ my seat fix I now sit much lower then before – have you done the fix? It will lower you 2 – 4″ I would guess. That being said – I get most of my wind from the side and the rear.

I won’t question what your anti-virus software is reporting…but I respectifully disagree that the target site is malicious.
The web site is the Virginia Beach Restaurant Association. The Oceanfront Inn’s web site has a link to it.I accessed it from work and we have incredibly tight security an anti-virus/anti-intrusion software. If you… -

Houston’s had several days of rain, but Thursday morning dawned clear and cool so once I’d downed a couple cups of coffee to get my heart pumping, I cranked up Percy intending just to run down to the Shell station and fill the tank. Of course, after that I couldn’t help but head out for just a little drive. An hour later I finally pulled back into…[Read more]

Nice. I remember reading about those in a magazine. Car Craft, maybe, in the ’80s. Thinking for the past 10 years that a scaled down turbine would be just the thing to run a hybrid-electric car today. The turbine runs to charge the batteries and on rare instances for boost. The thing would be essentially maintenance-free and, as Jay reminds us, it…[Read more]

Nice story, boys.
Took Bridget to work the other day & logged no glitches. Fingers crossed for what might be the last long run on this old engine. -

Well, we made it. Both cars ran so well and it was such a nice day that we ended up taking some side trips and my odometer logged 109 miles without burp or hiccup. We even got the GPS totally lost when looking for a boat ramp that ended up being 5 miles down a 2-MG wide dirt road out to the middle of nowhere. Cars handled the washboard bumps ni…[Read more]

I did 40 miles yesterday. No unpleasant surprises, except it seems to really like 70. Need to watch the speed or I’ll get a ticket. Good thing the heater works, because it was all top down and half was after dark.

Go for it. Not that you’ll need it (because your TD was running really well the last I knew) but in case best luck on you guys. Like Kent, I am jealous. My TD still isn’t ready. But she’s getting close. When she is on the road it’lll be a month of local in and around town break in before any long trip.

Good luck! I’m jealous! I still don’t have mine to that point — the summer has been consumed with higher priorities… and “top-down days” are rapidly passing by…

That’s a great resource Roy! Thanks.
I got into a debate in another car forum over gas mileage of gas vs e10.In my daily driver, my mpg suffers with E10 vs 100% gasoline. But that got blasted as relying on anecdotes and not science. Huh? Real world results are anectdotal? Ah well. - Load More
