How many miles since rebuild? Might need to drive a bit and  break the engine in – change oil 500 miles or so on break-in.

Probably an old question but…is there any way a member can go into his/her personal folder and delete unwanted photos? I have a few multiple photos that need to be deleted.

 I had one side ported ( they are tied together anyway ) at AJ Sims and used their vacuum advance Dist.and have not looked back. Aircooled has a great SVDA so you should be good to go. Thanks schu — I did install an Pertronics SVDA with electronic ignition that I just got from AIRCOOLED.NET, so I will need a carb setup that provides a vacuum signal to be able to keep that distributor.  Are you supplying vacuum from both Kadrons to the distributor? — Jack

 Jack,Happy you finally figured it out – always a big relief when you know what is wrong and can move forward.My opinion – Dual Kadrons w/ a vaccum advance dist. I have a 1641 and installed the set up about 5 years ago and adjusted – still going strong – about 15,000 miles now w/ no adjustments.

Paul, the run to Baltimore for Ed and then south for Schu and Gabor won’t allow us to use the Bay tunnel/bridge. We’ll be on the wrong side of the bay.If you want to split up on the way home to take it, I’d be game. It would make for a faster trip home. We can discuss it when we’re there.

The Bay Bridge/Tunnel goes from Norfolk/Va Beach to the Eastern Shore of Virginia, Maryland and Delaware. Very, very rural and mostly flat once you get across. You could always take it on your return leg.

That will be a nice run – coming over the 301 bridge is fun – if I can pull this off I will be meeting you guys someplace south – maybe 301 and 17? Need to take a look at a map etc. I give myself 50/50 chance at this point.

If you are taking Route 5 to 301 through Waldorf, then be prepared for the new Governor O’Malley taxes and pay $6 to cross the Harry W. Nice bridge across the Potomac going South.
