For those members who are assembling/(still assembling) their FiberFab MGTDs I have a helpful tip. The assembly manual says to measure down 1-1/8 inch from the top of the headlight bucket mounting bolt threads and cut it there. I suggest you skip this step and use my procedure as follows. Fitted the front body panels. The hood closes, but it is tight.
Got the fenders back on and the headlamps mounted. The lights work!!
As I was mounting the front bumper brackets and tow bar I noticed something out the corner of my eye.
That ain’t right.

I have a set of MG Magic sun visors and the installation can not be done as written. On the TD there is no channel on the rear side of the frame as there is on the front frame. If anyone has these sun visors could you let me know how they get installed? Thanks a heap.

I did hear from Wobby and his wife and they will make it this year – having problems with his car but hopes to have it fixed before coming but will be there with or without his ride.

Roy, we’ll miss you at Carlisle but hope you have fun doing the other stuff. Piloting a new boat across the Caloosahatchee and Okeechobee sounds like it’d be a hoot. Hell, upstate New York sounds like a hoot right now too. But I totally get having an overfull dance card.
