I was at a small car show (25 cars maybe) .I have a easy up tent . I put it up enjoying the day . I had to leave for awhile and while I was gone a small gust of wind blew it over and scratched a 1944 street rod .Very disturbing to say the least . He took it very well. 975 dollars to fix it . I didn’t know but your insurance on your regular cars covered this no deductable , no rate increase that was a relief . They do it all said it will be paid in a week . None of this insurance stuff makes cents to me .

Glad it worked out. Personally I don’t usually take any more than a collapsible chair or two, and maybe a small cooler if it’s an all-day thing.

But I sure do like to “borrow” other people’s shade canopies!

Had that happen a couple of years ago at a Bugout event. I went to look at other cars and a heavy wind went through the show while I was gone. Fortunately a speedster buddy ( Syl ) was sitting under my canopy and caught one of the legs as it started to somersault over a bunch of show cars and was able to hang on till he got some help. I now stake or weight the corners down at shows.
