Anyone want to do a 2013 TD Replica Calendar? Feedback on last year’s
was pretty decent. I’m willing to do it again or, if someone else wants
to take over, I’ll step aside. To get everyone thinking about it, here’s a great thread over at the MG Experience forum. Lots of shots of “Calendar rejects,” and some talk about their charm.
October 15, 2012 at 10:01 pm #252119I’d loved the last two calendars. I’ll pay for one again this year.

And have a cool shot of my car in front of an abandoned Texaco station

"Drive Happy"October 16, 2012 at 7:11 pm #252125OK, boys. Send me your pictures. Remember: phone shots are too small. Need decent sized files to print big with enough detail for the calendar. With your permission I’ll do the same thing as last year–mock one up and post it for comment, then do whatever I decide.
Last chance for someone to steal the project from me and hog all the glory!
October 16, 2012 at 7:15 pm #252126The glory can be all yours.
Thanks.

October 16, 2012 at 10:20 pm #252129Here’s a shot from the Pumpkin run I cropped for possible calendar use. If only that white pickup wasn’t there in the background–or better yet, if only it was an early ’50s GMC . . .
Make it look a bit old…oldeOctober 17, 2012 at 7:26 am #252130great shot .. Ed
I wish my BRG TD “Olive” was in that picture..jebarry2012-10-17 07:51:02
October 17, 2012 at 8:10 am #252131Yah, me too. Karen took that one. You can tell because I’m in it. One of the things I like most about the shot is that both people pictured are wearing WWII leather pilot’s helmets. But for the dang pickup truck you could almost think the pic was taken in 1955, maybe lining up for the start of a race.
Couple hood numbers…some tape on the headlights…we’d be there.
October 17, 2012 at 9:28 am #252132How do we send you our entry ?
This was taken at the local car show in Greene, NYOctober 17, 2012 at 11:58 am #252133Funny. My TD was bracketed by two Spyders. The TD looks huge in comparison!

October 17, 2012 at 8:51 pm #252135I’m in, thanks for taking this on
October 19, 2012 at 8:27 am #252136Ed, Do you still have the 2-wheels-in-the-air “Safety Fast” shot that I took last year? I had it blown up to a 20×30 poster that hangs in my garage. I’ve never had a photo that got so many comments (questions).
October 19, 2012 at 9:50 pm #252137Yes I do, Roy. You want it in? Cause 2013 might be its lucky year.
Maybe inset that old two-wheel TD shot Mossberg found….
October 19, 2012 at 10:13 pm #252138Ed, It would be nice if we could “vote” on which 12 pictures go in the calendar. But this may be one of the best examples of when a democracy is simply not efficient enough to get the job done before the cart over-runs the horse. So, I will recuse myself on this one.
October 20, 2012 at 11:05 am #252139I’ll mock it up and put it here for discussion. But right, it’s to be a benevolent (I hope and intend) dictatorship. 🙂
October 20, 2012 at 12:12 pm #252140You’re the editor dude! You did well last year. I’ve no worries this year!

October 28, 2012 at 1:13 pm #252141I am attempting to post another photo for your consideration, but all that shows in the reply box is the location of the photo.
I are confused.
