A couple of years ago, I put 700# “helper springs” around my rear shocks because I was bottoming out and I can not increase the rear torsion settings without pulling the whole tub. It raised the rear about 1″. Almost immediately I regretted doing that and wished that I had tried adjustable coil-over shocks simply because of the adjustability feature.
Since that time I have lost 20# and am thinking that I would like (as a winter project) to pull the helpers and put in new coil-over shocks.
My question is: Since my driver’s side seems to sit about 1/2″ lower than the passenger side (port list), if I set the coil-overs at the highest on the driver’s side and lowest on the passenger side, do you think that it may correct for my list?
If you have any “don’t buy these” advice, please tell.

Good on you for losing 20 lbs. I wish I had your resolve. Maybe you can give weight loss advise.
On to the subject.
I have rear coil over shocks and they do well for me. You can adjust and help with a little listing but does affect the front as well so not a lot of adjustment without making the opposite front lower in my experience. Check mine out this weekend.October 14, 2015 at 7:34 pm #265800Schu,
Weight loss advice:
Don’t eat anything that tastes good (no white stuff – potatoes, bread, spaghetti, rice, cake, pancakes, waffles, donuts. No ice cream, chocolate etc.) If it’s good, it’s bad. If you stick to that rule, you can eat all you want. (Whole wheat spaghetti tastes like crap! You won’t want seconds.)Thanks for the advice on shocks. Can you get +/- 1/2″ lift by changing the adjustment?
Anybody else?
October 14, 2015 at 8:25 pm #265801You can check mine this weekend, also. My left rear is adjusted apx. 1-1/2 to 2″ higher than the right.

"Drive Happy"October 14, 2015 at 10:54 pm #265802Bill, are you telling me that you can change your TDr’s height by 1-1/2 to 2″ just by turning the adjustment?
If so, that would work fine for me.

"Drive Happy"October 15, 2015 at 8:26 am #265804Bill is right but what I experienced was a change in the front as well because when you lift one corner it changes the opposite front corner a bit. I have coil overs in the front as well so can adjust.
