This is probably a common problem & seems to have a simple fix. I’ve not done it yet but plan to over the winter.

The problem: Your doors’ leading edges aren’t close to flush with the body. Bottom edge is out. Looks sloppy and sucks air in on your leg.

The fix: Adjustable cross brace. Here’s the description and sketch from the MG Experience forum. I’m thinking a Home Depot cable kit for fence door would work just as well. With no ash frame we might have to epoxy some wood into the door to give it gravitas.

    Anyone done this already?

Ed,, i had the same trouble, after playing with the hinges ,and that did not work the way i wanted ..I took some oak put it inside the fiber glass doors cut to the bend   i needed to twist the door ,,only needed 3/8 of an inch to twist it back to flush with the body. that is when i did the inside of the doors also ,with some oak trim . just a note i did this in the heat of summer,i don’t think this should be done in a cold time if year ,the fiber glass will not bend, but it will crack in the cold . GOOD LUCK   Dan
