eBay kits starting cheap

There are a couple of eBay TDrs up now that are starting pretty cheap. Still early in the auction with no reserve on either. The first one looks to me like the windscreen was installed with too much of a rearward cant. Could that be the reason that the top fits sloppy?? Also, does it look like the forward bottom part of the engine cover was cut on both sides for some reason?
