    Managed to get my wife’s dad to take a ride with me yesterday morning in the rain. We ran the twisties behind the house.

    He’s just started driving again after an illness. Came down from Buffalo with his wife and stayed with us for a couple days. He told me that when he moved from Texas to Buffalo in 1972 he was driving a VW Beetle. I tried to get him behind Bridget’s wheel but he demurred.

    Anyway. We’re stopped in this shot, waiting at the light after doing a mile or so of windy and wet road in third gear. He never let go of that handle for even a second.

    Tell your father inlaw  that i live 1 hr south of Buffalo in Cherry Ceek NY.I”m in buffalo lots.Warm winter hot summer this year. GO BILLS! GO SABERS !

    Looks like he was scared to death riding in the car with you.:-)

    Hope you had a good time with the in-laws. (Or maybe you scared them away and they won’t be back for a while).;)
