With a Fiberfab body kit already installed, is there any way to access the chassis number stamped into the VW floorboard at rear near the transmission linkage access panel?? For that matter how does one get to this transmission linkage access panel?? Is the VW floorpan exposed under seatback unit?? or is there an opening in vertical panel behind seatback?? Or some other way to get at the number for registration purposes??
Whoever built your TDr MAY have used carpet glue to hold down the carpet in the tunnel access area. The carpet in my Fiberfab has a separate carpet section just for the tunnel access. Not knowing how yours was made, you may have to remove one of the seats to access yours. Good luck and keep us posted.
