December 19, 2014 at 3:35 am #262438I have purchased a kit and will install when I obtain a new upholstery kit. Waiting for the cage to be installed first.

I have seat cushion and seatback heaters in the front seats of my 2014 Chevy Silverado and they work great. Not that I need them a lot but on cold mornings and with my arthritis acting up in winter, it sure makes my back feel great. Does the kit you purchased come with heater for the seat back only or for both seat cushion and back? I’m thinking this will be a nice, warm addition to my TD as well.

They work great! The Volvo sits in a parking deck during the day. So it’s covered but still outside. The seats warm up almost immediately; well before the engine is warm enough to provide heat. The heated seats also extend the top down season for both cars!!!Paul Mossberg

December 19, 2014 at 9:20 am #262441Another question. I did a search on Speedway Motors site for heated seat kits and warm seat and it turned up…..nothing. Any idea of the part number to order? The article in HotRod magazine doesn’t include it.

December 21, 2014 at 4:21 pm #262447Well my hottie will be toasty with a heated seat. Just made my birthday order. Decides to get two of them. One for me and one for the passenger seat too!

"If one thing matters, everything matters" - from the book The ShackFebruary 22, 2015 at 11:32 pm #262448I put a Dorman set in my MGTDr. I bought it from Amazon.
I put them only on the seat not the back.
I did not know how well they would work and since the seats fold forward I wasn’t sure if it would be a problem. Also since normally if it cold you wear a jacket that would insulate you from the heater.
They work great. It was an easy install. In fact on high it gets a little too warm. My wife appreciates the seat heater a lot.
