June 2, 2012 at 9:55 pm #250769This is a new one on me. Should it be added to our manufacturers comparison?

June 3, 2012 at 10:30 am #250773Correct, I have one of the five front engined version. There was a total of five VW based cars built also, for a total of 10. The front engined versions had opening hoods like the real TDs’ All of the front engined versions had Ford Pinto running gear, some with 2.3s although mine, being the first completed has the 2.0. As stated above, the Cardinal is proudly displayed as Miss June.
June 3, 2012 at 10:36 am #250774One small correction to the original article. The cars weren’t built for sale, but were built for the personal use of the Shriners. I managed to meet with one of the only surviving builders a year ago and got the history. You should see his. They had access to a foundry at work and he cast all of the parts for his car in brass. They used original parts to make molds and cast the parts in aluminum (windshield frames, headlight brackets, tailight brackets etc. He did his in brass!
June 3, 2012 at 11:22 am #250775How do I get a TD Replica Calendar? Also Paul, I know there are instructions of how to post a picture of our MGTD Replica, but I can not find the post that has the instructions. Can you help me out?
