Looks good! I’ve been wanting to add sunvisors and windwings to my car.

I’m a little skittish about parade driving right now, aside from the air-cooled VW engine stuff: potentially large number of pedestrians crowded along the streets.

But I guess since I managed to get out of the huge weekend event here today, car show included, with people walking along the entry/exit road where I couldn’t tell how near or far they were from the front passenger side, maybe I could do anything now.

Not even an air-cooled specific problem… Almost burnt up my alternator day before yesterday when I tightened the belt wrong, moved shims between the alternator and pulley instead of moving to front behind the holding nut/cap. Started car for test of tightness then noise, sparks and smoke. Was afraid I overheated the shaft bearings or dropped shear Woodruff key into alternator. But all is good now by redoing it the right way. Written instructions I had seen didn’t help me, a YouTube video sure did.

FYI
The visors are from a junkyard car – a big dodge as I recall.  Looked for a long time to find ones that big with exposed outer end rods to allow anchoring.  Measure, search and be sure to take all the hardware in case you need it. Still, some improvising will be necessary.

Thanks all, reading more about both things (visors+wings) if I can still use the convertible top I can move onto getting them. Looks like my windshield frame is okay for it.
