ok guys there is a guy here in Columbia SC that has a London roadster for sell the pics looks really nice and the
guy is selling it for $2700 but he told me that the lowest
he would go is $2200 what do you all think? I really
wouldn’t mind getting it but you all have seen my car it
needs work and more work.
I’d buy one for $2200, if it was in decent running shape & not all rusty underneath. Paid $3500 for Bridget last year and thought it was alright. Some of these guys here got theirs cheaper and with lower miles.
No damn cat, No damn cradle. If it runs and needs minor repairs jump on it. You will easily surpase that on yours.(no disrespect intended) If you can pick up a runner and work on it as you go your enjoyment factor alone is worth it.
London Roadsters are factory built cars. As I understand it ,they bought kits from Daytona MiGi ,assembled them on VW pans and sold them as completed vehicles titled as London Roadsters in the year they were completed or sold. I have owned two of these cars ,one since 1994,the other I only had for about two years but sold it after I got the BCW Chevette based car from Pink MG.The car I’ve owned since 94 has been very satisfactory with no problems .Some of these were built on custom made pans using special suspension systems, I have only seen these in brocheres on on the computer and are very rare. I’m thinking that most body parts from your MiGi would fit the LR car in the event you had a need to replace something . As someone has already said ,it would cost more to get your present car to acceptable condition . My two cents worth ,, If it is a good solid car ,it sounds like the best way to go.

this deal but i really dont have that much $$ just sitting
