Great shots of some Michigan dude’s BCW–which he sold. Looks like he posted these in spring of 2010. Don’t know how I missed ’em.
Hope the new owner shows up.

I love that view over the dropped windshield.

November 8, 2011 at 1:15 pm #247720Very nice read, and great photos. This sentence in the OP’s reply to a comment about the wheels sort of jumped out at me:
BCW made metal emblems that you put on the center of the hubcaps that were a little larger than the originals to fit inside the VW emblem pressed into them.Somewhere on our forum I saw a thread about modding hupcaps, but don’t recall seeing that particular information.

I still have not figured out how BCW adapted the VW wheels to their Chevette based cars. The VW wheels on my car had been replaced by the previous owner .I think he told me that it had 13” wire basket wheels on it when he aquired it from yet another PO.
November 8, 2011 at 4:52 pm #247722The BCW Chevette cars used adaptor plats to fit the VW wheels, I believe.
No idea where one would find those now but other 15-inch steelies might work just as well. I seem to recall someone using Hyundai wheels on their ride. 15 round holes in them (as the TD had), and 15 x 5 rims. Could be mis-remembering that.
