Hello. I am new to the forum. I just purchased an Allison about two months ago. Didn’t know what i was purchasing but realize now that i wound up with a nice car. My wife has wanted an MGTD since we were in high school. Man down the road had what i assume was a kit car back in the 80’s and she fell in love with it. So a few months ago I gave her list of about 20 from craigslist and told her that her car was in there somewhere all she had to do is find the one she liked and call the owner. She like the color of this one, it sounded good and we drove to south Florida for the weekend. So i am brand new to the kit car world. Expect to see a lot of questions. Here are a few pics of the car. Thanks in advance for any help you all provide over the new few years. 🙂

The Allison is a very nice car. Factory built, i believe, and nicely detailed. Congrats to you both.September 8, 2013 at 11:49 pm #257644Welcome aboard Mike!

Great looking Allison.Larry from Daytona with the red AllisonMay 6, 2014 at 5:04 pm #257658Mike
Welcome to the club. I joined a couple of weeks ago and I love it here. The advice is worth it’s weight in gold and the people here are worth more than that!I love the color combo. I drive a Duchess as my daily driver with a similar color scheme. Black fenders with a grey body and burgundy interior. I like the look of yours much better! She looks like a real mean machine and all business. Great Buy!May you enjoy many trouble free rides in her and remember to always take the long way home; After all, it’s all about the journey. -
