I have two six inch round three-way speakers mounted in the back wall of the passenger compartment.
I used these foam enclosures from Crutchfield, available in all standard sizes.Normal

October 14, 2012 at 10:56 am #252078Paul, do you mean that your speakers are actually in the engine compartment, facing forward? My speakers (only 2) are in small enclosures, mounted on the firewall way up high above the occupants feet. Completely out of the way and quite invisible unless you want to lay down and look up. Works good for me.
October 14, 2012 at 11:44 am #252079My speakers are 2 mounted up forward into the firewall facing into the car and 2 mounted facing forward in the boxes under the seats.

the ones I listen to are these with my Ipod since I took out the radio cassette player .jebarry2012-10-14 12:54:19
October 14, 2012 at 5:40 pm #252081John has the right idea. I took the aftermarket bluetooth radio from my Subaru before I traded it and installed it in the MG. I then took the speaker wires and wired in a headphone jack in the parking brake cover. Not only do the ear buds cut down on the wind buffeting, but I also have hands free phone, radio, CD, SD, USB, and I-pod capability. No longer pull up to a light with the radio blaring.

Well guess not. They uploaded but in siber space I guess.October 14, 2012 at 10:53 pm #252083Roy,
I guess the straight answer is yes.
My speakers are on the rear wall of the passenger compartment. Surface mounted. So the magnets and cones stick into the front of the compartment, protected by the baffles.
