Hello, I’m a new member from Raleigh, NC. I am just in the last stages of a Shelby Cobra build which I hope to complete as soon as the weather gets a little warmer. I’m in the finish stages of paint, so that is why I need some warm weather. I have been visiting this site for the past several weeks as I have had a long standing interest in VW based MG replicas ( I almost bought a MiGi kit back many years ago) and even though I haven’t finished my Cobra yet, I have been looking for an MG replica as a follow on project. I just purchased a FiberFab/MiGi car today and am planning on taking delivery sometime this next week. It will be awhile before I get to work on the car, but went ahead and bought the car since it was located close by. I’ll have questions I am sure once I get a chance to work on the car.
Regards, SamFebruary 9, 2013 at 1:50 pm #254407Welcome to you, Sam. I’m sure we’d love to hear and see some details of your Cobra build as well.

February 9, 2013 at 4:09 pm #254413Roy, I might come and see you. I come thru New Bern on my way to my place over by Oriental. I’ll let you know when I’m coming that way and try to arrange to meet. I assume there is a way to PM you, but haven’t figured that out yet. I was going to try and post some pics of the Cobra here, but I can’t see how to load pics to this reply. Maybe someone can enlighten me.

February 9, 2013 at 8:44 pm #254415To post pictures, click on the little tree icon above the edit area when you do a reply…then browse your file system for the file….
February 9, 2013 at 9:13 pm #254416Ok…will try some pics.
February 9, 2013 at 9:23 pm #254417Ok..another question. I uploaded 3 pics, but only 2 posted so I assumed the thrird pic exceeded the size limit. So, I thought I’d just reply again and post a couple more pice, but when I did the second reply and clicked on the tree, the three pics I tried to load before are still listed and I can’t get rid of them to post some additional pics…..????
SamFebruary 9, 2013 at 9:34 pm #254418Sam,
I doubt your pictures exceeded any size limits set by the forum. If you keep your shots at 480×640, you can post a bunch. I also sometimes have trouble posting pictures, it seems that sometimes the forum just doesn’t want to work. After I go away for a while, it usually becomes less cantankerous and everything’s ok. (I usually like a more scientific explanation for things of this sort but am pragmatic enough to accept that the website is female and therefore these quirks are quite normal.)February 10, 2013 at 8:18 am #254419Welcome Sam
February 10, 2013 at 9:11 am #254420Ok..same problem. When I tried again this morning and clicked on the tree, the pics I tried to load yesterday are still listed as ready to up load. How do I get rid of them so I can post new pics?
SamFebruary 10, 2013 at 10:44 am #254421It will keep loading new photos. I’ve never been able to clear them nor ever hit a limit of any sort.
