Hi all. I’ve been away for awhile due to work and personal schedule and other distractions but have been peeking in the forum door from time to time to stay up with all that’s going on.
I thought I’d share a couple of things and hopefully become a regular attender again.
First I went to a cruise in last night just to see the cars and drove the MG (sorry for those of you up north but the weather was fantastic here in Tampa). At first I didn’t know where to park because the lot was so full of cool rides and I wasn’t there to show but to gawk.
I pulled in and headed to the back lot (I was not in the car show competition) but the parking lot guy waved me into the lot with all the cruisers. I guess at least he like the look of the car and thought I belonged with all the other sweet rides.
She got lots of attention and I was very proud. I was our first time to any kind of car show and we were treated well.
On another note, as crazy as it sounds, I decided I enjoyed the MG project so much (that sound crazy even when I say it) that I needed another one to keep me busy. But this time I went with something a little different.
It’s no where near as bad as the MG was and it’s drivable so I registered it right away and started cleaning her up.
Remember this? Geesh! What was I thinking.
It will be an ongoing effort but I’m looking forward to it.
They even seem to get along as garage buddies.
Anyway, glad to be back.
