    Recently someone posted a site to purchase a universal shifter boot. My computer crashed and I lost that information.

    Does anyone have this site available to pass on?

         That boot was on ebay.  The link was on the yahoo MGTD site. The sale has ended.  

        I got the same boot at Advance Auto Parts (minus the $9 shipping). You might try there.

        BTW I got a second boot that works perfectly for an E-brake cover.  It took some tucking into  the carpet to get it to lie horizontal, but it looks great!
