August 28, 2016 at 8:47 pm #301666Very cool!
September 3, 2016 at 9:49 pm #301701Ball joints now completed today.
Will take a run tomoorrow or Monday to verify my ride is good to go.
Needs a service as well but will get to that – looking forward to the nice Fall weather for country cruises – the only thing about Fall is the thought in the back of my head that winter is not that far off.
Ed
Really glad Karen is a go
Bill
Looking forward to seeing you both

September 11, 2016 at 1:33 pm #301724Here’s a map with the complete route for next Saturday’s cruise. http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/1264290082. Charlene and I just got back from doing a final run on the route and it was perfect day for it.
The total loop is 82.86 miles. Photo stops, the breakfast stop at the Goose Creek Grill and the lunch stop at the Whip Tavern are marked on the map. The plan is to to leave the starting point at 9:00 on Saturday. Right now be have @schu, @edsnova, @billnparts and me with four cars for the run. There’s still room!

September 11, 2016 at 8:00 pm #301729OK I will check that out.
Rain was just taken out of the forecast – lets keep it that way.
Looking forward to it
September 12, 2016 at 8:33 pm #301730We might have a fifth. I’ve been in touch with Donna (She and Matt showed up briefly at Carlisle two years ago with a red and black TDr.)
She says she’s off Saturday but has 5:00 plans. I said it won’t be a problem. I hope she says yes.

"Drive Happy"September 12, 2016 at 9:29 pm #301731That would be great, Bill! Depending on where they are the 5:00 thing shouldn’t be a problem. Please, forward the info on so they can have it if they want to do it. Getting better by the minute!

September 15, 2016 at 10:41 am #301777Dang it – my speedo is in KPH – now what am I going to do…
September 15, 2016 at 11:09 am #301778Here’s what I did on my Classic Mini. (Used a Brother Co. labelmaker) Looks pretty good, despite unusual numbers, eh? I got tired of multiplying km/hr by 0.6.
September 15, 2016 at 1:11 pm #301779Saying that it jest after all the work Vicenc put into the directions. Jerking his chain a bit.
I am sure I can figure it out. 4-5 cars so should not be that hard. I remember 40 plus on some of the Carlisle cruises – now that is hard to manage – people all over the country side going all over – still great fun.
Looks like it’s going to be a great weather day as well.
Looking forward to it.
Roy – still have time to hitch up and meet me at my house and head north tomorrow afternoon.
September 15, 2016 at 2:10 pm #301780Would be nice. Have company, Will not travel!
September 15, 2016 at 2:48 pm #301781Good one, Schu! You’re right with four or five cars is should be no problem at all and if we get spread out a little, I plan of pulling over and get everyone on the same page. It’s going to be a great weather day, 82 degrees, light cloud cover and clear sailing.

September 15, 2016 at 7:22 pm #301782I have no tripmeter at all, but I learned to play follow-the-leader at a young age. I also learned to read. This is going to be fun.

September 15, 2016 at 9:30 pm #301785Ed, it won’t be a problem. The route looks more complicated than it is.
