    @pmossberg

    Saw a comment in the Car Show Season thread from Dave (davearoy) about problems posting photos from an iPad.

    I recall others having problems from the iPad world. So I’m starting this separate thread for iPad users to exchange info about the picture upload process.

    I do not have an iPad so I’m not able to test or recreate problems that have been reported.
    Hopefully a “group think” will solve this one!

    Thanks Paul for your help. Actually I do not know how you have had the time to make this recent post, concerning iPad pictures. You certainly have had a very busy graduation celebration weekend, for sure. I know you are very proud of your daughter, I know I was when mine graduated.

    On the square……..

    Dave,

    Not iPad specific, but when you type or paste a web link, sometimes the forum software recognizes the link and makes it a live link. Sometimes it does not.
    If it doesn’t, you need to highlight the full url, then click the icon that looks like the earth with a chain link. This one:
    That will pop up a window, with the link in the correct field. You only need to click ok.
    That process also works if you wan to make a word or phrase in your post a link to a web site.
    Highlight the word or phrase in your reply, then click the earth/chain icon.
    Type or paste the url into the address field (without the http preface). Select the appropriate link (usually http:// or https://) in the drop down just above the address field. Then click ok.
    That is how I made this a link to Google.
