We have an update in our future. PHP v8

Currently the site runs on WordPress using the PHP language, version 7. PHP7 is a bit old at this point and all the cool kids are moving to PHP version 8. I say all the cool kids really meaning everyone who runs a reasonably up-to-date webserver is.

So, at some point in the next few days our service provider will be upgrading our back-end language to PHPv8. I don’t expect any problems as WordPress and all our “plugins” are as up to date as they can be and are all compatible with PHPv8. Or at least as far as I can tell from looking them over.

So the short part of the story is, upgrade coming, hopefully you won’t notice.
