Thought I had the baby done. Finished the complete new wiring & the new dash board and installed the new instruments which looked great and work great.
But I thought I had a small problem with the frontend, so took it to a friends garage/shop and found out I need to have the upper and lower ball joints changed along with the shocks and steering box. But to top it off the starter quit when I got there. I guest when it rains it pours.
Well once these things are done Sarasota as I call her will have no old parts in her any longer. (New: Engine, brakes, lights, wiring, instruments, steering, trans, starter, interior, top, mirrors etc. etc.) Only thing old will be her owner!!
Thought owning a boat was like a hole in the water to put money in. Hopefully I have now filled the auto hole for now.
Still love MY TD replica and look forward to driving the back roads of Florida starting next week again and showing her off.
