Kent is spot on: the kit manufacturer was Daytona and they intended for it to be a TD replica. However, IMO, far too many builder “oddities” for my taste. Those giant black hinges gotta go. Sorry, but I am left with the impression that the person who assembled it had no idea of what a MGTD looked like.
I wonder if the top goes up, since the seat backs are so high. Looks like they’re the same level as the wind shield. I wonder where it is, since it looks like a European style license plates, but steering wheel is on the left, so you’d drive on the right side of the road. Not exactly my cup of tea.
Definitely a TDr; but with some bad design decisions and some non-TDr parts, like those bumpers.
