1968 VW pan, 1300cc engine, autostick…
Looks like a Daytona, based on the grille. Build with front hinged doors, speedo and tach in center cluster, and a lot of other oddities…

Slowly coming back from the ashes...Something like the Mercedes Gazelle maybe, doors and bumpers anyway. From what little I know of those.
Kent is spot on: the kit manufacturer was Daytona and they intended for it to be a TD replica.
However, IMO, far too many builder “oddities” for my taste.
Those giant black hinges gotta go.
Sorry, but I am left with the impression that the person who assembled it had no idea of what a MGTD looked like.It’s what a British Stormtrooper would drive.

"Drive Happy"I wonder if the top goes up, since the seat backs are so high. Looks like they’re the same level as the wind shield.
I wonder where it is, since it looks like a European style license plates, but steering wheel is on the left, so you’d drive on the right side of the road.

Definitely a TDr; but with some bad design decisions and some non-TDr parts, like those bumpers.
