Visited a friend yesterdayHe asked me if I wanted his MP Lafer. I have a delemia as ihave limited space and have 2 kit cars now. Car is apart getting ready for paint and parts are in boxes. Owner is wanting to get it out of his driveway as his house is for sale.
Thought about it long and hard and at 70 years old will be taking yet another orphan. Price was right move it. IT’s yours. Said I could do anrthy thing I want with it.Will find place in garage after daughters household googs find different storage.Gee I wish I had friends like that. For a free-be I’d have to make room too, and suffer the rath of the wife later.
But honey it followed me home! The Laffer is a coveted car. Well-made (usually at the factory in brazil), roll-up windows; just different enough from a TD replica to be something different. They have their own club. Or, at least, they used to.
