Well, it runs. It also blows smoke out the vent on the catch can like a freaking locomotive.I just pulled a compression test. Three cylinders at 150. Number three is sitting at 10. I hope it’s only a head gasket. We’ll see how lucky I get after pulling the head. ☹️

I agree. That came out nice. Someday I’ll have to make time to do something like that.

Gabe had built his car with a roll bar. He accompanied us to VA Beach a few years ago. Should be photos in here somewhere.

 I managed to get the thing fired up last night. Upon reassembly I found the crankshaft woodruff key as well as the timing belt crank gear keyway slot wore out. Basically the only thing holding the gear in place was the belt. I have a short block on a stand in the basement and luckily there was a good key and gear on that. If I get time tonight…

ROAD TRIP !! 🚗💨

I epoxied that missing piece back into place yesterday. Today it looks as if it will hold. As that sheave is not in use all it has to do is spin. Hope it stays together at speed.

Well, an automatic is unique. Make sure the shifter is adjusted correctly and the circuit is complete while in the park position. If that’s the case than the neutral safety switch would be suspect.

That doesn’t look bad at all. It’s unique. No two of these cars are alike.
