Always loved that old Moss TD’amino and thought it’d be great to replicate. Looks like a short T-bucket bed fits perfectly. Alas, not with a rear-engined kit, though.

Wait…does that tub really have an MG logo molded in?

I’d start by inspecting the undercarriage and the front suspension. Check to make sure the beam (assuming this is a VW-based kit) is properly bolted to the chassis. THEN LOOK AT WHAT IT’S BOLTED TO. The frame head is a common place for rust. If it’s real bad the car could start to list and there nothing more dangerous.

Not much going on. Still making incremental progress tho.

Spyder build continues.

It’s amazing how much time can be spent making something a half inch shorter or two inches longer. The shifter box and parking brake handle–if you want to get them to look similar to the original 550–are quite a fettle.

Noels, congratulations! Your car looks terrific and just wait until you drive it. People in other vehicles literally hang out of their windows to video you going past.

That grill shell looks pretty darn good under the circumstances. At least from this angle it does.
