When I bought my London Roadster it came with information that said it was built in Inkster Michigan on Michigan ave . I looked up the address . There appears to be a storage area there now . I have contacted history groups including ford . Very little information. Lots of luck!                     

This is Greg Press here in Western New York.    Been a member for a few years . I own a 1953 Replica (London Roadster) . Built in 1985 in Inkster Michigan . Did you get any info on car ? You will learn a lot from the guys here.

checked fuses they appear good . Would the fuse be a in line fuse.

The reason I went with 20w50 was I’ve gotten to know a VW car guy who rebuilds air cooled engines and says 20w50 Brad Penn is the only oil that he would use . I found that the best way to use the side curtains is to keep them wrapped up in a bungee cord in a plastic garbage on a shelf in your shop .

I believe that Stevenson was a designer of London Roadster

The adjusters had a lot of slack and the nuts had no lock washers so it appears to me they just loosened up with vibration   

I bought a heat shield and strapped it on with some very large metal hose clamps . It works very good

This sounds like a loaded question . I wasn’t n the car . When I was at Carlisle I noticed most of the members seemed to be big or tall. I have dropped about 30 lbs. When I went to DMV the first time to register it. The DMV dude ask how much does it weigh. He said I would need a computer print out of its weight Took it to a local gravel pit. The scale guy was into the car so there was no charge . 1,846 lbs

The cap is a boat cap I know because I lost the cap went hunting for a new one and found the exact same one a boat parts store . I drilled a couple of holes in it to vent

Replaced coil. Not the problem. Took fuel pump apart. cleaned, new gasgets etc . Carb apart .and cleaned. not the problem. I’m wonder is there a filter or screenwhere gas leaves the tank . I took a air hose and blew it in the fuel line towards the tank lots of noise and the car runs like a champ   

The coil is very hot cant hold my hand on it

I just want to take a minute to say that it great meeting u people at Carlisle . It was good to put a face to a name . Next year I will plan on taking part in more group activities .    Very nice meeting U ALL

Who is Elvis ? I had a interesting time at hotel room 4 am screaming, yelling. Look out peep hole no one there . Step into hallway. A couple were yelling obscenities , pushing, name calling . Through my stuff in car on the road 4:30 am . Nice time at the show good to meet everyone . Hope we get larger numbers next year .

Carlisle 2 weeks going to be there by noon on Friday ,I was able to change my work assignment at my car club flea market.
