December 15, 2015 at 3:07 pm #266562See the blacks angle iron behind bumper that is bolted to the frame where bumper brackets bolt.the the tube where the receiver slide in is welded to that .a bracket on top of tube is bolted to the bumper in middle.mine has a steel support inside bumper which made it very easy to bolt center support to.I used all steel harden bolts .I have pulled a motor cycle trailer whit my Harley ultra classic on it had no problems.

December 10, 2015 at 4:43 pm #266473No I didn’t all sanding was done by hand and the buffing was done with a button buffer.places I could not net with the buffer I buff by hand.the buffing process is a real job.in some areas I had to buff redan it and buff .alot of buffing until u get the desired result.it takes alot of time and patients
December 10, 2015 at 12:06 pm #266471It’s alot of work bringing gel coat back from the dead but it’s worth it as long as you don’t have chips or deep scratch that go all the way down to the fiber glass.if you take your time use emery cloth .I started out with 700 grit then 1000.then 1500 then 2500.finished with 3000 grit.then buffed it with number mirrow glaze number1.finished it with number 2.then waxed with a really good wax. Make sure you soak emery cloth in water for about an hour before you start sanding and keep it wet while you sand.

December 9, 2015 at 11:37 am #266462That paint job is approximately 40 yrs old
December 9, 2015 at 11:36 am #266461No I didn’t repaint car that is the orginal clear coat.car was almost pink and had bubbles in paint and faded allover.I water sanded car with 5 different grades of sand paper.finishing up with 3000grit .that took 3 weeks everyday for about 5 hrs a day.then 4 days of buffing out paint.and eND results was better and cheaper than a repaint.plus it is original factory clear coat.
