The hood on my TDR sticks up about 1/8″ inch at the back corners. It’s not that bad but I am a perfectionist. Probably the builder should have trimmed it before putting the car together, but this was the same guy who also misaligned the chrome strip so it’s not centered on the “radiator cap”. Of course it’s fiberglass, so it’s correctable, an…[Read more]

I will be happy to contribute when needed. Thank goodness for this site. I’ve already gotten more than my money’s worth of knowledge … well, more than the money I’m likely to need to contribute, anyway!

The car at the ad at the linked web site is not necessarily the same car in the photos in the ad at the first post here. The top right photo here — showing the interior — definitely does not show the same interior as the one in the ad at the web link. If they are a go…[Read more]

As suggested, I can just fill the smaller holes with epoxy, but some of the holes are nearly 1/2″. I had kind of an idea to fix them … you can buy small rectangles of galvanized sheet metal in Home Depot that are about 4″ x 6″ (in the roofing department). Creative use of a tin snips would allow me to make pieces just slightly larger than the h…[Read more]

I like this: “Personally, I got in at a low investment point …”
Yeah, I had the same thought when I only paid $3000 for mine. Of course, that was about $8000 ago and I’m still waiting to get the last bit of work back from the mechanic, and I STILL haven’t redone the paint or the interior as intended. OTOH, I’m going to have the finest ru… - Load More
