I also agree about running dedicated ground wires.Just as background, in older cars, which were mostly metal, grounding components to the nearest bolt worked fine. Today’s cars, with so many body parts and fasteners made of plastic, require actual ground wires to insure continuity. Even more important, all the electronic components, including…[Read more]

Sorry to interrupt the intense discussion about the “hangy down thing”, but regarding the MG:Since the motor is already missing and the kit build is already done (well?), I’d vote for an electric conversion. ๐

Rich Kallenberger replied to the topic Grill shell for sale in the forum General Discussion 11 years, 4 months ago
I am suspicious that my grill shell was installed a bit too low because the front edge of the hood stands about 1/4 inch proud of the grill. What’s involved in correcting that?Kall2014-04-20 22:54:31

Thanks for the prompt welcomes. I should add that another attractive feature of this forum (compared to some others) is that the experienced hands avoid launching into personal debates while leaving us newbies lost in the dust. Thank you for that. Two problems so far online:Unable to post a photo so far. Once I used an appropriate size file it…[Read more]
