June 21, 2015 at 3:54 pm #264849Hi John,
I have a 1952 Mg TD (London Roadster) replica. It is a pain to put in the key in the ignition since it is blocked by the steering wheel. Was it hard to have the ignition relocated to the dashboard?
Thanks, MC

June 21, 2015 at 10:15 am #264106Hi everybody…. My “baby” runs great now.. Bought the car back to my mechanic, he fixed it, replaced the carburetor , cleaned the gunk in the gas, changed into an electronic ignition and some other things that I don’t understand, returned the 4 tires, and didn’t cost me anything extra (tire credit). Although, he had it in his shop for almost 2 months…it was worth all the wait…
I guess my question now is how do I restore the sparkle of my car? Also the “bird” emblem on the hood broke and I can’t find the same kind of emblem in the internet.
Happy Father’s day everybody. https://www.facebook.com/artmarilou/videos/10153446834698653/Maricar192015-06-21 12:50:02

April 11, 2015 at 1:34 pm #264100Royal and GP, thanks for responding. My auto mechanical background, nothing much other than I know how to fix a flat tire and do oil change and But my husband has some “inkling” and I will make sure he read your responses when he comes home from work. I really would love to drive it.
April 8, 2015 at 9:23 pm #263989I thought the Carlisle show is on April? So there’s another show in May? Anybody knows exactly the May dates?
Ps thanks fir rotating my pic.Maricar192015-04-08 21:25:47April 4, 2015 at 9:39 am #263980Thank you for responding. You have a point there, it was probably assembled in 1986 but replicating a 1952 MGTD. I have seen 2 or 3 LRs calling them 1981-1986, but I see a lot more of with 1950s description.
Thanks again. Will search the site.Maricar192015-04-04 09:44:05April 4, 2015 at 8:42 am #263978Thanks for the warm welcome! I have so many questions about my London roadster, but I don’t know how to start.
How do I know it is really a 1986 London roadster replica? Seller (2nd owner) said it is an Mg3 replica. How do I restore it to make it an authentic London roadster replica? There is not much in the internet about 1986, mostly 1952s.
Has a 1978 VW engine. -
