I didn’t do any research other than a web search for ’69 VW headlight switch. You might try this shop: http://www.autohausaz.com/vw-auto-parts/vw-headlight_switch-replacement.html

The tach in my red one with the Chevy engine (Mr August, 2012) is not working. If I have to replace it, what size is this one, Ed?

That black one on eBay got my attention. There’s a Honda S2000 in the background of the main photo. Two of my favorite cars.

I believe anything you paint has to be cleaned first, otherwise, the paint won’t stick.

MGLondonRoadste replied to the topic Power Brakes in a Ford based Kit in the forum Chevy/Ford Kits 13 years, 4 months ago
I must be spoiled with my Honda S2000. It can’t weight too much more than my Fiberfab with the Chevy 283. But the S stops like a race car would, quickly and smoothly (even if I’m not using all of the 240 horse power) The 283 is enhanced, so maybe it’s giving me at least 300 hp, but stopping is just fine at slower speeds. I do not trust it lik…[Read more]

MGLondonRoadste replied to the topic Power Brakes in a Ford based Kit in the forum Chevy/Ford Kits 13 years, 4 months ago
I want to add a booster to my Chevy engine that seems to have manual Chevette brakes. I found one shop that told me they could move the master cylinder to make room for a power booster. I also plan to get bigger rotors and discs.

Thanks for thinking of me, but I wasn’t overly pleased with the cut out in my hot rod fenders that I have now. The only cars I’ve had with no engine hood were model cars I glued together (with an open window, thanks, Mom). I’m getting used to the look now, but secretly wish it was a real sleeper.

I’ve been on two different poker runs The first one met in a park. Everyone drew one card out of a basket. Drove to next stops with sight seeing historical or cultural significance drawing cards at each way station. 5th card at the casino and end of run in time for lunch. Prize for highest hand was a basket of car goodies. Lowest hand of all got…[Read more]

I had my Fiberfab Chevy Hot Rod out last Satuday. Rushed getting out the door and forgot my sunscreen. It was col and sunny in the a.m. And warmed up to the high 70’s by mid day. It was a mystery clue poker run with the Arizona Kit Car Club. I was the only kit car owner to bring out my car. We ended up at the Scottsdale International Auto mu…[Read more]
