I agree, I really don’t understand these guys with “trailer queens” as we call them around here. Most of the fun for me is a drive in the country or around town, the looks and talking to people when you stop. Although I am still looking for a trailer for a trip to Carisle, with my long legs a trip over about 100 miles is really tiresome.    

You guys have put waaaay too much thought in what to wear.   I’m like Ed, dress I for the weather, except for the crusty hat, mine is simple flat hat.

Starting a business:  Actually, I was thinking the same thing thing.  Always thinking.  Well as a part time side line thing.  Maybe do car shows with a demo and possibally doing parts right there.  So far I haven’t found any place that sells the stuff or prices on the web.  All the web sites seem to dead end.

Hint for your sticky hard to fasten/unfasten snaps..  put a little bar soap on them or candle wax.   No more tuggin and pullin.  I’ve never had one come loose in the wind so it dosen’t effect the holding power.  Works on levis too.

I agree with the the fugly!!..   If he has 20 grand in that he must have paid himself 19000 in time wasted.   It’s just wrong.

I can only speak for my car.  She’s a factory built CMC Ford.  The tires do stick out about a inch past the fenders and the body is slightly raised when compaired to a real TD.  I always attrubated it to the reverse rims and/or wider rims and tires compaired the the 1950’s rims and tires.   I had trouble with the tires rubbing when I first bought …[Read more]

I replaced my radio last year.  Believe it or not Walmart had a complete Pioneer stereo and 4 speakers for 89.99.  It was right about Christmas time.  I made custom boxes for the speakers 2 for the back and one that sits under the dash on the console( speaker on each side and a tray on top for stuff. 

Nice ride, My first bike was a ’67 650 Bonniville Tr120….Wish I had it back.  I even took my license test on it, everyone else that day was on small dirt bikes they thought I was crazy. 

Sure wish they made a easy hook up tow bar for my Ford based auto.   Oh well still lookin for a trailer.
