On March 21 2013 i turn 62.My wife asked what i wanted for a gift.I went to the computer and found a few things all for my car. With in a week it all started to come in the mail.I wanted new tail light lenses, new heater heater box/shroud hoses, muffler heat shield, and and Mcguires gelcoat polish. It has always been a rule that nothing gets opened until the day of the event and it will be wrapped.(love the gift bags)I was concerned that stuff would not fit so after my wife went to bed i would take the things out of there box go to the garage put it on the car . One thing every night. Tonight i will try the final one.So far everything fits.

    Mine’s the 16th, a 70 milestone but don’t tell me that.
Seems like March is a popular month for TD’ers.
And your SS check doesn’t come ’till the 3rd Wed. of the month.

    Happy birthday youngster.

If you do any camping at National Parks or utilize Federal Recreational Lands look into the Federal Senior Pass and it’s benefits. One of the benefits is 1/2 price camping at the campgrounds they control. You are eligible at 62 and it is a lifetime pass for only $10.00 upfront.

Happy Birthday, esp to all you “kids”. I’ll be 70 on Appomattox Court House Day. That’s for the history buffs.

You whippersnappers ain’t got nothin’ on me.  Sit down, be quiet and eat your cake.  Paul did the tabulation of TDer average ages about a year ago here:

Any TDer who is older than me and attends Carlisle, can have my elder statesman (aka old geezer) preferred parking spot.  My mommy taught me to respect my elders.
Are there any??  (72 in Sept)

I think the reason we enjoy these cars and cars in general is that we are old enough to remember what real cars are like. Not these iPads on wheels that we have today.
