Nope, it is almost exactly like that one. The only difference is the shape, half teardrop vs a crescent. I’ll try and get some pictures up tomorrow.

Interesting… Everything looks the same as mine except the bracket itself. Even down to the mounting hardware.

On my FF the headlight brackets are different. One side curves up further than the other (similar to half of a teardrop shape)

So far I’ve had good results with pertronix, first one was a drop in replacement for an 009 and then I got a complete distributor with SVDA. Just make sure you get the right model replacement for use with the vacuum advance.

Last I checked it was about 25 give or take on the highway. I put a new carb in recently though and hopefully that will increase efficiency a bit but I haven’t taken it out on a long enough trip to find out yet.

Interesting that you drilled and tapped them yourself, I might consider that as I just did a front disc conversion and don’t really want to pay for another set of drums and rotors so soon!

That’s practically down the street from me! I have the 4x130mm pattern though so unfortunately these won’t work for me… What is the donor car for your TD to have that pattern? 

I see two, possibly three. Too bad we never see that many around town anymore! Where I live there is my TDr and a Gazelle kit at a used car lot. Awesome photo!

I’ve thought about something similar as well. Although my plan included building a small pop-up teardrop style camper trailer. Would love to know how it affects driving though. 

Ah yes, I meant option 2 but with some patchwork to the frame head since you mentioned it had some rust as well?
