I agree it may not be FiberFab, despite what the ad says. But I’m sticking to my guns that it is not a Classic Roadsters Duchess.
The area around the taillights is not from Classic Roadsters. The Duchess had a molded area for early style VW taillights that are actually on this car. But the car is molded for later style “flat bottom/oversize” li… -

Like the ad says…FiberFab, not a Classic Roadsters Duchess. The car looks pretty solid. I don’t like the side curtains either but…if you admire function over form, they do allow the door to open with the side curtains attached. THAT is a nice feature.

Sorry Roy. At the moment, I am flying solo…through life…and Carlisle!

I haven’t seen the car before. And don’t recognize the owner’s name as being part of the old NJ Replicar Club.
But that looks like a pretty solid car. -

Paul Mossberg replied to the topic Running Progress Report in the forum My Project 12 years, 3 months ago
Everything I photographed is probably also in the Classic Roadsters assembly manual.
But when I get around to it, I’ll start scanning. Remember, 1982 pics are way before digital. -

If you want to check the tire codes to see when they were manufactured:http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/how-to-read-a-tire-sidewall-featureItem 14 is the DOT number, which includes week and year of manufacture.General guide is if they are older than five years, it’s time to replace them
