Glad to hear it went well Allen! Do whatever the physical therapist tells you to do! The rehab is probably the most critical part of the process! And now I won’t feel guilty asking… is that an independent joint? Or a swing arm? :lol:My lord, I’m hilarious! 😀

If they used the VW VIN, it is stamped into the center tube of the chassis, right above the access panel for the shift rod to Transmission connection. In other words, under the seat!

I’ve been struggling with what “the ruight thing to do” is on this one.
And while all those that said listen to yoru wife are not mistaken…they may not be correct either.
ÂI think this is one of those deal with it now…or deal with it later issues.ÂA paint like Alclad or the chrome foil that modelers use may improve the appearance for n… -

My first piece of advice is to avoid Mexican food. :!:No that I got that out of my system…I have foam covers that slip over the heads of my vocal microphones to reduce wind noise. They come in “fur” also.Thinking there had to be something similar for video recorders, I did a little searching and found this, they have one for the go…[Read more]

One other thought…when you are looking at steering wheels, diameter is only one part of the space issue.
ÂThe other is dish (offset of wheel rim from hub). Most banjo’s are flat (or zero dish). That could be good if room from driver’s chest to steering wheel is an issue. But some feel it puts their knuckles too close to the turn signal… -

If a sixteen inch diameter wheel is too large, perhaps this 14″ wheel would work for you.
ÂPerhaps not for Doug who started this thread by observing his 14 inch wheel blocked the gauge panel. But for many of us, it’s a tight squeeze under the wheel. If you want a banjo, I’ve searched high and low and this is the only 14 inch banjo wheel I’ve… -

Noticed two other differences. The “louvers” on an MP Lafer are raised above the surface of the side panel, convex if you will. On every other TDr that I have seen, the “louvers” are concave. And the one that should have been obvious to us from the start, the red TDr in the picture Vicenç posted has snaps for side curtains. Unless the owner had a…[Read more]

And because of the way the side windows are engineered, MP Lafers usually do not have wind wings.

My vote is no. I do not believe that is an MP Lafer.
