    Mark..if I am understanding you correctly, you would hook the starter solenoid wire to the regulator wire, and hook them both to the ignition switch? My power to the ignition switch is currently coming from the amp meter.

    I had a similar situation, and I live in PA also. My title was from Florida, in the builders name, and I had a bill of sale. I had no problem at all. I am in chester county in PA, where are you? I can send you to the Title guy I used.

    From your answer, I guess I was correct in assuming that the color of the cables are miss-matched by the PO

    Can I also assume that the Positive cable should not have any ground connection, ie. screwed into the frame?

    Also, considering that my battery is in the front of the car, where does the positive cable terminate to, and where does the negative cable terminate to.?

    In a rear mounted battery, the positive cable goes to the starter and the neg cable goes to ground on the engine block. I have the pdf’s from this site, but I cant find the location of the battery cables.

    Any more help would be appreciated.

    Thanks larry.. I went out this afternoon to take some pictures, but I found I needed to recharge my battery…hope to get some pictures later tonight.
