The SPAMmers continue to sign up. To combat this a little bit, I’ve added a second security question to the signup form that needs to be answered to register for the site. If you are trying to sign up and the answer is not evident, pop @pmossberg or myself @stephenhouser an email at webmaster@tdreplica.com and we will get you account sorted.

I activated a new signup spam filter in hopes of slowing the number of fake registrations we get. Will keep an eye on how well it does over the next few days/weeks.

@stephenhouser. Hello, I’m new to the site. I can’t see how to search forums. When in the forum for my replica I click on the search icon, and enter ‘brakes’ for example, all I get is a text file. Please advise. Thanks

Don’t use the search icon at the top of the page. Go into the forums (choose forums from the menu) and you should see a search box with a “search” button. Use that one to search the forums.
The search icon in the menu searches the “site” but somehow not the forums.
@philipgregory Good point. I’ll have to look at (a) why search doesn’t show up there and (2) if we can narrow the search to the forum you are looking at.
