All,
In October 2004, Frankie D established this great website that we all use today. He has been paying the fees to keep it alive since then. A few “members” have donated cash, but no where near enough to cover the costs he’s incurred.
How much do we all think the information and contact with each other via this site is worth?
It’s time we all showed Frank that we appreciate his effort and fork up some jing. This isn’t dues. We should send what we can afford. However, if most of us send him a $20, we are surely going to raise enough to keep the site alive and well.
We all need to cover this fee EVERY future year too. We should not depend on Frank to pay the $125 fee every year.
Frank’s address is on the home page, lower left. (I tried the PayPal and it won’t work for me). My check will be in the mail tomorrow.
September 22, 2008 at 10:18 pm #237523Hi Frank
My donation is already on its way, via PayPal.

September 23, 2008 at 9:18 am #237524Hello Frank
My $20 via Mastercard is on it’s way. Thanks for taking care of this. Let us know what else you need.
Thanks Again,
RingoSeptember 23, 2008 at 10:27 am #237525Mailed my $25 check this morning. Wish it was more. Thanks to Paul and Ringo. A few more donors will be great.
We’ll need to remember to do this again when the fee comes due. Hopefully Frank will let us know when that is (hint).
We don’t want to lose the only TD Replica web based venue in existence.
September 23, 2008 at 12:55 pm #237526Thanks to everyone who have and are donating.
As some, or most of you may know, I sold my MGTD some time ago and still miss her dearly.
In 2002 when I purchased “Roxie”, the only resource for info on these cars was the yahoo group. While this was a great way to exchange information, I saw more of a need to have personal place and way to post the manuals and other info and that is how tdreplica.com was born.
Even though I no longer own the car and rarely have time to update the site, you, the users, keep it going and I see no reason not too keep it going. I will continue to keep it going. The cost hasn’t been a burden on me or the family and I don’t mind paying the cost. I’m no way going to, now or ever, “REQUIRE” anyone to pay for this service and I refuse to take paid advertisement fees in exchange for ads on this site. We get enough adverting ever where else and don’t need anymore here. I founded this site on the idea of sharing and passing on our passion with out cost. ( please see the Membership page)
All of this being said, I greatly appreciate all donations and will apply every penny to the growth of our hobby.
I’m will be checking on the PayPal link to ensure it’s work correctly and checks are always welcome but please make them payable to me Frank Devine as checks made out to TDReplica require a business account in that name to be deposited. A second account and it’s associated fees would further increase our costs. My wife, the accountant, keeps close tabs on our finances and graciously volunteers to keep separate books for my hobbies so I know exactly how much is in each associated fund.
Again, thank you to everyone for a great five years!!!! Here’s too another great five years!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 23, 2008 at 4:29 pm #237527Thanks Frank. I made my check out to you, not the website, so there should be no problems.
Now we need to hawk those TD Replica.com badges that Bill Collins had made!
Paul and I will keep a close watch here.
September 23, 2008 at 6:25 pm #237528Oops,I made my check out to tdreplica.com and mailed it one hour befor Franks post. If it cannot be used, let me know or send it back and I will send a new one. Larry

LarryThanks Larry, I can SHRED the check that’s on it’s way, will even photo graph it being done if you like or I can just write, “Return to Sender” (hmm now I’ll have Elvis song in my head all the rest of the day) and send it back to you.
Thanks to everyone who has donated. If the donation exceed this years Web Hosting fee of $125 due in Dec, any remaining amount will be applied to the purchase fund for getting shirts done. Hats will will come next if there is still an interest.
And don’t forget to buy you grill badge!!!!!!!
Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 24, 2008 at 9:42 pm #237530Hi, Frank, Go ahead and shred the check and don’t worry about a picture of it. I will send you a new one tomorrow made out to your name. Thanks for all you do to keep the site going. Larry.
September 25, 2008 at 10:28 am #237531I am definitely interested in TDReplica.com hats. I have a badge already. I need to keep my bald head warm!
As far as shirts go, I’d have to buy my own and send to whomever ends up taking them to a T-shirt printer. I wear a tall size and a “regular” sized shirt won’t fit.
It only sucks being tall when you have to buy clothes…tall sizes cost extra which I think should be against the law. They don’t charge less for small sizes!
Now I’m singing Elvis!!!!
October 3, 2008 at 1:14 pm #237532Donations have been coming in and as of today, I’ve received $84.00. Thank you to everyone who has donated. The fee is due Dec 1 and I will be paying it again for another entire year so we will be good through ’09.
Again, thanks to everyone who has donated to help off set my cost of hosting for this website.
Here is too another great year and more TD owner finding us!!!!!
October 6, 2008 at 10:27 am #237533Frank,
Don’t forget to let Paul Mossberg and I know if we end up short of the $125 fee. We’ll make up the difference. You shouldn’t be paying a dime.
January 26, 2009 at 11:00 am #237534I bought a badge yesterday…
I am interested in a hat or two if they’re about..

September 3, 2009 at 5:51 pm #237535I believe the fees for the hosting of this wonderful site will be due December 1st. That is really soon. If I understand correctly FrankieD has been bearing the weight of this. We need to be sure that all the expenses are well covered by us and not by Frank.
I, for one, will be sending a check to the address listed on the left side of the screen. I greatly benefit from this site and the fellowship and I need to do my part to keep this site going. I invite everyone to kick in and get some funds into Frank so this site remains alive. Whatever you can do, every bit helps, no matter how big or small, it all helps.
December 1 will be here before you know it and we’ll all be thinking of holiday expenses, so let’s get a jump on things and donate now, before the holiday expenses take control of our pockets.
Hosting this site is not free, and the site fees need to be ready when they are due. So spread the word and help.
Frank, my check is going in the mail tomorrow morning. Thank you for all you do and for this wonderful site.

Guys and gals…you can also donate by using the “donate” link on the left. it will launch a paypal window and you can send funds to Frank with a click of a button. You do not need a paypal account of your own. And you can use a credid card.

September 9, 2009 at 1:03 pm #237538Just a reminder for everyone’s help to keep us going. With all the ways to help, it’s easy. Any amount, no matter how large or small it all goes to keeping this wonderful site operating. You do not have to be a member to donate.
Thanks.September 21, 2009 at 4:54 pm #237539Thank you to everyone who have sent their donations in.
To date, I’ve received 75% of this years cost and that is AWSOME.
I started this side some years ago after purchasing our TDreplica and finding a lack of resources for owners. We have since had to part with our beloved Roxie but because of all the great people on this site, I have kept the site up and going at my own expense. Because of everyone?s donation, it makes it that much easier to explain to the wife why I keep paying it.
Again, thank you everyone!!!!!!!!
September 21, 2009 at 6:43 pm #237540Frank…I just PayPaled you $20.00..towards the web Site fees
September 21, 2009 at 11:50 pm #237541I just sent my donation Frank.
Hey gang, every little bit helps. I think we’ve covered about 75% of the cost for next year.
If our gracious host lets me know exactly where we stand, we’ll share that info.
My personal goal is that FrankieD spends zero out of his own pocket.

September 25, 2009 at 11:11 pm #237542How we doing Frankie? I just want to bring this topic up in the active catagory since the time to renew is getting closer.
It only takes a minute to click a few buttons and help keep this site running. For the price of just one fast food lunch, you can help. We all need to be on the slimmer side to get in our TD’s, so instead of that burger, send the bucks to Frankie and be slimmer in the process, a win / win
Every dollar helps, and the best thing is, you don’t even have to be a member of the group. This site offers a great source of information and entertainment, not counting downloadable manuals and photos. The source of information is priceless, but hosting the site does have a price.
Together we can do it, so please donate, we sure don’t want any ads and pop-ups to finance this site, what a pain those things are.
Thanks everyone!
September 26, 2009 at 12:14 am #237543Info from Frank:
Annual cost is $155 ($139 for hosting services and $16 to retain the domain name).
We have collected $105. I think more than any past year.

September 27, 2009 at 9:44 am #237544Awesome
We’re getting closer, just 50 bucks to go and time is running low. With over 300 members, pocket change will fill that gap .
The donate button on the left is an easy way to help.
And to all that help out, you’re wonderful
Thank you Frankie, this site is terrific

July 18, 2011 at 10:22 pm #237546Paul,
Didn’t know where to post this other than here. Just wondering how we’re doing with the web site fees. Afre we due to ante-up or are we still good for a bit. If you’re collecting fees for new year let me know and I’ll forward some dues funds to keep us up. I’m not panicing, just trying to stay ahead of the game. This club/site is way to good to go down.
Thanks man for all you do for us.
