    Hello from Florida:

Made is down and picked up Mrs. Peel.  Greg and his bride stopped by my home after a leisurely evening cruise.  I was a Greg’s house this morning, he helped me change out my radio (that means he did the work and I watched).  After we finished we went inside and I saw his growing trophy collection.

Greg and I will have our cars at the Christmas cruise-in this Sat.

Easiest way to tell us apart is look for the driver with the biggest grin.

Greg if I forgot to say it “Thanks for the help”

Glad you made it Mel, you’re in good company. Greg, you’re in good company too

Hope you guys have your cameras ready. Would love to see the radio installed also.

Too bad you’re missing all the cold snow Mel……..

Glad you had a safe trip. Not jealous at all, nope. Nor-easters build character.

Snow? What is that snow? It was a true joy to see Mel and his bride, and of course, Mel forgot to mention that I have a shop with all the tools and he does not. Not until he gets here full time anyway. In the mean time, the car show beckons today, and dinner afterward I am sure.

    Car show? Lucky guys.

The first flakes of what is predicted to be a foot (or more!) of snow started falling about an hour ago. Right on schedule.

Yes. Snow is a four letter word.

Paul,  It started right when they said it would here yesterday too. We got about 8 inches , sure was pretty falling. I’ve been looking at MGs on the computer so I don’t have to walk to the garage to see one.It sure does make it feel like Christmas!! Car shows in warm weather, sound like a good way to spend the Sat. before Christmas.

Totally snowed-in at Baltimore. I shoveled once and the LW shoveled twice, and there’s 6-8 inches down where she shoveled three hours ago. My turn in the morning.

Meanwhile, sanding the living room floor. Then looking around J.C. Whitney for stuff to line around the dash board & make it shiny. Thinking of using chrome fender moulding like this here.

    Ed,

Check out my photos. That is what I have on my dash and everywhere, works great! Couldn’t get the Whitney link to work, it might have sawdust from the living room floor or snow mixed in it.

I also used the same trim on the fake gas tank bands, the centerline of the hood….oops, bonnet, and to edge the carpet and along the top of the seat back, oh, and along the center console from the shifter to the heater. Easy on, holds up great, and is shiny chrome. Take care of the back, snow gives you a workout.

Thanks, James. Your endorsement is the push I need to spend the $15.

I got the walnut dash already, but the tach seems dicey, and there’s no glovebox (the previous owner did a nice job mounting a nice stereo near where one would go, though). And the dash has no bling ’round it. TD dashes all seem to have that shiny stuff. So, here goes.

Yeah, I gotta learn to use the hyperlink button. Keep forgetting to.

Also trying to decide whether to drop $65 on an official Moss badge bar, or just get a nice bit of stainless or chromed 3/4-inch o.d. pipe, flatten the ends, drill holes in them and bolt it down with the bolts already coming out of the fenders.

Anyone have an expert opinion on this?
