    @mrlmd

    Check this out.
    If I had the space and a spray gun, I would do my whole car.

    That is too cool. No respirators, no fumes.

    I doubt it is big enough.  I wonder if these rechrome people are still in business.  It seems like there would be dozens of youtube videos on the product if they were.  I think there would be a ton of interest and there has been enough time to get the product to the market.

     There nare numerous companies who manfacture the equipment that does the process. Biggest draw back is the cost of the equipment. The smallest equipment is about $2,000. plus the pripority chemicals used. Is pretty slick finish. Maybe someone could make a business out of it.

    I think it is a good idea, from the look of it ,the material looks light, and maybe a small 5 HP. may work well. the only thing is the cost of the material.   Dan R

    Starting a business:  Actually, I was thinking the same thing thing.  Always thinking.  Well as a part time side line thing.  Maybe do car shows with a demo and possibally doing parts right there.  So far I haven’t found any place that sells the stuff or prices on the web.  All the web sites seem to dead end.
