Went into the garage today to putter with car and noticed some wax streaks so i was thinking maybe i should remove old wax before applying jellcoat wax i got for b-day any ideas for removing old wax.
Might try new wax. The agents that carry the wax will likely dissolve the old dried wax on your car.

A dish washing liquid car wash should remove the old wax. Try Dawn or something like that. Acetone is too flammable to be used safely inside a garage. Its vapors can be ignited easily from a spark or even static electricity. It is also harmful to inhale the vapors. You must have adequate ventilation. MGLondonRoadste2013-03-24 13:27:08
