How can you tell if a car was factory built or home built?

Has any ever compiled a list of who may have purchased these kits? I wonder if MG Magic would share customer information like who is buying duchess stuff, Fiberfab, etc. To help build a data base. I belong to another hobby and the producers of the kits track sales and pretty much know where their products are. Again it is a pretty costly $$$ hobby AND they are still in business. When I was having trouble they told me of a couple of close by guys to contact, again the internet wasn’t what it is today.

I know Jeep, snowmobile, ATV owners list are obtained from DMV’s Seems like I buy something and I get a catalog in the mail!!

I am sure there has to be more than two TD Replica owners in the entire Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

    Jeff,

Bottom line is, you can’t tell if a car was delivered as a kit or a turn-key.

With all but one of the TD replica manufacturers out of business, there really is no place to look for original customers.

I would not expect MG Magic to share their customer list. Seems like a major invasion of their corporate privacy and their customers’ privacy.

Perhaps you could ask MG Magic to share your info with any customers from your area?

If you own a TDr and are not in the Registry, please go to https://tdreplica.com/forums/topic/mg-td-replica-registry/ and register (you need to copy and paste the link)
